Sunshine Grove

Imagine a place where every step feels like a journey into wonder—a sanctuary where peace, growth, and joy are woven into the very fabric of the land. Picture yourself arriving at a magical haven where nature’s beauty and human creativity unite, inviting you to reconnect with yourself, each other, and the vibrant world around us.

At the heart of our vision lie winding trails designed for every explorer. One path is a gentle, accessible route, perfect for wheelchairs and strollers, offering a serene stroll through nature’s embrace. Just beyond, a more adventurous trail with rolling hills and playful stairs beckons those with a spirit for exploration, promising new vistas at every turn.

Wander further, and you’ll uncover hidden wonders tucked among ancient trees—secret doors and unexpected surprises that spark the imagination and remind us that magic can be found in the most unexpected places. Our grounds are not just built for human delight; they are a sanctuary for all living beings. Imagine whimsical bird houses dotting the landscape, each one a tiny beacon inviting feathered friends to make our sanctuary their home.

At the core of our sanctuary stands a grand community building—a vibrant hub where classes, meditations, lectures, and countless programs come together to nurture transformation. This is more than a getaway; it is a place where every corner is designed to foster self-care, communal support, and the boundless joy of discovery.

In our community center, learning and connection blossom. It’s a space alive with workshops on mindfulness, health, and even the art of wonder, where adults learn and children gather to listen to enchanting stories that inspire dreams and creativity. And tucked away in a cozy corner of our retreat is a whimsical tea shop—a snug haven lined with books and games, where you can savor a warm cup of tea, lose yourself in a good story, or simply bask in the calm of a peaceful afternoon.

A wishing fountain, glistening with hope, reminds us that each donation helps our gardens evolve and our community grow. Quiet spots offer solace from the bustle of the everyday, while lively areas invite families and children to laugh, learn, and create memories.

We invite you to join us on this transformative journey—a haven where every pathway leads to new insights, every garden grows with care, and every moment inspires a deeper connection with the world around us. Welcome to our sanctuary, where magic, growth, and heartfelt community await.

We’ve set out to create a sanctuary of peace, growth, and joy—a place where people can reconnect with themselves, each other, and the beauty that surrounds them.

This space will become a magical, inclusive haven. Some of the plans for this space include:

  • Trails for All: A flat, accessible trail for wheelchairs and strollers and a second, adventurous path with hills and stairs.
  • Nature focused: We envision a sanctuary for humans and animals alike. We plan to encourage wildlife by building a huge number of whimsical bird houses on the property
  • Hidden Wonders: Secret doors on trees and other surprises to spark the imagination.
  • Gardens with Purpose: Areas dedicated to bee habitats, a cat sanctuary for emotional support, food gardens to donate locally, and plants to sell for sustainability.
  • Learning and Connection: We will have a community center where we can hold workshops on mindfulness, sustainability, health, and the art of wonder; and storytelling for children.
  • Whimsical Tea Shop: cozy tea room lined with books and games. A peaceful and fun place to get away and enjoy a cup of tea. Or you can stroll the ground or find one of the many cozy spots to sit and enjoy your tea.
  • Community Center: A large central building used for community functions. This such as classes, meditations, lectures, and so much more.

This place will be more than a getaway, it will be a hub for transformation, where people of all ages can learn to care for themselves, others, find peace and learn and grow. We’ll grow food to nourish, raise bees to pollinate and provide honey, and nurture a spirit of generosity and growth. A wishing fountain will stand as a symbol of hope, with donations funding the evolution of the gardens.

Parts of the garden will be designated as a quiet place for those who are seeking solace from the busy world. Other areas will be dedicated to families, children. The entire place will be dedicated to programs that foster connection and creativity.
