About Us

Sunshine On Tap is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. The genesis of this project emerged from a deep-seated concern fueled by an abundance of disheartening narratives permeating society. It felt as though stories of division, animosity, and the spread of hate were on the rise, casting a gloomy shadow over human interactions. The need for a remedy to counter this tide of discord became increasingly evident.

One underlying hypothesis for the seemingly pervasive negativity in interpersonal relationships is the unhappiness that festers within individuals. A myriad of factors can contribute to this discontent, but one of the recurring themes is the state of our mental landscapes and the tools we have at our disposal to navigate the complexities of life. It was in this light that the project was conceived – as a response to the collective yearning for a more harmonious and fulfilling existence.

On this platform, our aim is to build an ever-growing repository of valuable resources that are readily accessible to all, without any financial barriers. We firmly believe that knowledge is a powerful instrument for positive change, and thus, our offerings encompass a rich tapestry of articles, videos, challenges, and courses. Through these resources, we aspire to empower people to rediscover the joy in life and to recognize the beauty that surrounds them.

We provide these educational materials freely to anyone who seeks them, regardless of their background, location, or circumstances. Our ultimate objective is to facilitate a transformation, to inspire individuals to derive happiness from life’s intricacies, and to infuse the world with a spirit of positivity.

Looking ahead, our project has ambitious longer-term goals that extend beyond the digital realm. We are not content with merely disseminating information; we aim to create tangible, real-world spaces that foster self-reliance and well-being. These goals include the establishment of a community center (we are calling a nonastary) and garden. There are plenty of space available through religious organizations, but we want a place where people who are not seeking religion will feel comfortable and welcome.  A sanctuary open to all, where individuals can feel welcome, heard, and seen, irrespective of their faith or beliefs. This sacred space will serve as an educational center, offering a curriculum rooted in essential principles like self-love, kindness, mindfulness, compassion, and gratitude. Regular workshops, guest speakers, and classes will provide the tools necessary to navigate life’s challenges while fostering a strong sense of community.

In sum, our project strives to bridge the chasm between a divided world and a world filled with joy. By offering free online resources, cultivating physical spaces of learning, and embracing diversity, we are committed to sowing the seeds of positive change and helping individuals embrace a more harmonious and fulfilling life.
